As a client-centered psychotherapist with a concentration on Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Trauma, I am dedicated to helping children overcome their difficult experiences. My approach focuses on addressing complex developmental trauma, using evidence-based interventions such as Critical Incident Densitization and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Throughout the treatment process, I work with children to modify negative, unhelpful thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that result from traumatic experiences. I also use different techniques of play and art to help children express their trauma narrative in a non-verbal way. With positive treatment and training outcomes, I believe that CBT, Client Centered Play Therapy, and CID offer a promising approach for children and adolescents who have experienced trauma
